Programme Delivery Assurance Manager

Role Description:

To ensure commercial and delivery alignment from the project teams across and through into the Service Introduction programmes. Provide review and assurance to the plans to ensure visible, consistent and predictable delivery.

The below covers the initial elements; as this progresses, the role will also cover responsibilities and interfaces into areas across the wider programme to support eg at the moment the OSS Programme Management role

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring there are commercial work packages or change requests in place between the business and third party that clearly identify the delivery milestones and these have been accepted by the project delivery teams.
• Ensure there are plans in place with the business and third party Project Managers that clearly show how each work package will be delivered.
• Monitor and track the key delivery milestones.
• Ensure that these delivery milestones are mapped into the programme plans and any misalignment is being managed.
• Ensure risks are being identified and being managed for all delivery plans.
• Ensure that any risks related to the core network are picked up and managed.
• Ensure that the plans, issues and risks are updated into Project Online so that delivery can be reviewed by the delivery management teams and in-line with the guidelines that are being set by the businesses PMO team.
• Ensure issues are being effectively raised and managed through the delivery review forums.
• Ensure all cross delivery dependencies are being identified and managed with any misalignment being raised for impact assessment and resolution.
• Ensure that there is the right representation from the Management and Project teams at the Service Introduction review forums.
• Ensure that there is the right representation and input into the business Partner collaboration forums.
