Job Description
As an Acquisition Manager you'll be responsible for the entire site acquisition process, from identifying and negotiating leases to overseeing project delivery and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Your work will directly contribute to the expansion and maintenance of our telecommunications network, keeping people connected and businesses thriving.
An opportunity to play a pivotal role in securing and developing the infrastructure that keeps our telecommunications network running smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify prime locations for new cell towers and telecom equipment. Lead negotiations with property owners to secure the best possible lease or purchase agreements
- Keep projects on track and within budget. You'll oversee the entire site acquisition process, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and with the highest quality standards
- Build strong relationships with internal teams (legal, finance, engineering) and external stakeholders (property owners, local authorities) Ensure everyone is aligned and working towards the same goal
- Navigate the ever-changing regulatory landscape. Ensure all site acquisitions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Identify potential roadblocks before they become problems. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure project delivery stays smooth
- Maintain meticulous records documenting all acquisitions, project progress, and compliance details
Experience and skills you have;
- Proven experience in site acquisition for telecommunications or a similar industry
- A keen understanding of relevant telecommunications regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favourable deals
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and complete documentation
