Data & Reporting Manager

Contract - 12 months

Reading - Hybrid-working

Working as part of our Property Team as the Data & Reporting Manager, you will run a review of a major programme of work - Tools Management, Data reconciliation and Reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for data reconciliation activities by suppliers, implementing MBNL data management rules, data requirements of MBNL, understanding and collating user group reporting requirements and utilising tools & systems to provide routine reporting cycles.

What you will do:

  • Direct the development of processes, embedding new improvements into MBNL's guidance documents and ensure these are adopted and adhered to by all suppliers and internal teams.
  • Manage and take responsibility for data, requirements and initiatives in Site Tracker platform.
  • Define, implement and manage the data input rules for MBNL and third-party data provision into MBNL programme tools & systems
  • Define, plan, implement and provide progress reporting of data management initiatives.
  • Manage data cleansing activities.
  • Review new reporting requests, validate requirements, define implementation requirements and dependencies, agree resourcing, manage delivery and assure the data reporting outcomes
  • Review legacy reporting and seek guidance on decommissioning of redundant reporting
  • Undertake direct intervention to investigate data accuracy issues, instigate recovery initiatives and intensely manage the recovery of data management performance. Escalating as required.
  • Highlight potential risks to data integrity, mitigate and escalate as necessary

What we are looking for:

  • Experience and a proven ability in delivering data-related initiatives across organisational departments & 3rd party suppliers that have provided tangible efficiencies or business value
  • Thorough understanding of end-to-end Data Migration activities, and the ability to identify areas of risk.
  • Good understanding of delivery tools and systems, data management, reporting and cross-functional dependencies
  • Experience of motivating, monitoring, managing & improving outsource Suppliers.
  • Experience of significant reporting & routine reporting from tools & systems
  • Good ability in coordinating and communicating on many levels.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Planning and organisation skills

Nice to have:

  • Quality/compliance knowledge of mobile or fixed network technologies
  • Understanding of the network technology lifecycle
  • Telecoms experience.
