Service Readiness Manager (Telecoms)

Contract role

Location: Reading (2 days per week in the office)

Are you an experienced Service Readiness Manager with a strong background in IP/ Transport services?

We're looking for a proactive professional to ensure seamless service design, implementation, and operational support.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Developing and enforcing the Service Design framework, covering:
  • SLAs & OLAs - Ensuring service level expectations are met
  • Service Definition & Catalogue - Clear documentation of offerings
  • Security Compliance - Aligning with industry standards
  • Operational Support Systems (OSS) - Ensuring smooth integration
  • Configuration Management - Establishing a robust baseline
  • Service Support Manuals & Policy Frameworks - Standardizing processes

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Networking Knowledge - Routing, Switching, WANs, ISPs, Load Balancing
  • Cloud & Virtual Networks - Hardware appliance & virtual/cloud networking
  • Network Security - Firewalls, VPNs, Vulnerability Scanning, Proxies, SIEM/SOC
