Reporting & Tools Specialist

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

Overall objective is to support the Property, Legal & Compliance teams under the guidance of the Head of Commercial (Estates) in providing analytical support across the company's major initiatives, turning data into information for the management team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Analytics

Ensure development and use of correct analytical tools and techniques that are most appropriate to the objectives of the analysis

Support processes and governance within property with the right tools and analysis

Document Management

Undertake general administration and file housekeeping to ensure that documents are quality checked, filed and logged correctly

IT Tools and Systems

Using SQL & other available tools to manipulate large complex datasets and present data as meaningful information on a regular basis. It is this information that enables the company to make informed choices and decisions to support many major initiatives

Reporting

To develop ad hoc and regular reporting from existing databases as required for strategic decision making

Skills and Knowledge

Essential:

Strong problem solving skills - quantitative and qualitative (e.g. developing decision and project mgmt. processes)

Able to produce analyses

Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills

SQL skills as required to manage ASIMS DB and create reporting

Able to summarise findings and conclusions for senior colleagues

Excellent inter-personal skills and abilities interfacing with stakeholders and teams with a matrix

Desired:

Ability to multi task and meet tight timescales

Experience with SQL in performing basic tasks using a Geographic Information System (GIS)

Knowledge of visualisation tools such as Tableau beneficial
